During its 70 years of existence, Transilvania University of Brașov has developed into a truly prestigious institution both at a national and international level. Transilvania University of Brașov is a higher education institution located in Brasov, Romania, and by its education offer, scientific research and number of students represent one of Romanian’s large universities. The faculties offer academic degree programs in a wide range of fields (from different engineering domains to economic and social sciences, humanistic sciences, medicine, and music. The mission of Transilvania University of Brașov is the production and transfer of knowledge to society by means of initial training at bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees, advanced scientific research, development, innovation, and technological transfer. The largest Research Institute of a Romanian university, EU funding (built and equipped in 2009-2013) with 30 research centers and 20.780 m in 12 buildings unified by a central spine.

UTBV has Bachelor's and Master's degree programs developed in partnership with companies, Laboratories equipped in collaboration with economic partners, Internships with employment opportunities at partner companies.

Angela Repanovici is a professor at the Faculty of Product Design and Environment, Transilvania University of Brasov. She is PhD supervisor in Engineering and Management. She teaches at the bachelor program at Medical Engineering, Optometry and Mechatronics, at Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Sociology and Communication the course of Information Literacy. One important modul of this course is Intellectual property. She has one PhD in engineering and one PhD in marketing. She coordinated 8 international projects and 3 national projects.  Now she is project manager for DECIDE project- Developing Services for Individuals with Disabilities  598661-EPP-1-2018-1-RO-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP http://www.decideproject.ie/  and coordinator partner for INNO3D- Developing 3D printing competencies: https://www.inno3d.eu/, DIGITOOLS –2020-1-IE02-KA226-HE-000781- Innovative Tools for Enhancing E-Learning Solutions in Universities. She participated in different international research in the field of copyright, she coordinated some PhD theses in the field of copyright, she published a book and several articles in the field.
